Saturday May 30th, 2020: Fotabe University announces an 11-member Board of Trustees to help pilot the affairs of the Institution

The Board of Trustees has as primary role to maintain the vision, mission and values of the Institution, and to develop strategy which ensures that the Institution achieves set goals, and exceeds the expectations of all stakeholder groups.

The board of Trustees of FUNIC is comprised of men and women who are passionate about providing the best education to young people from across Cameroon and to contribute to the growth of the African continent.

Every single member of the Board of Trustees has been selected based on their commitment to the development of youth in our country. They represent every arm of society. 

Here is a complete list of the members of FUNIC’s Board of Trustees :

Mme Fotabe Elmine

She is the Founder of Fotabe University and the Chair of the Board. She is a Social Entrepreneur, corporate trainer and University lecturer. She was the Founder and President of JSF Group, and Rector of the group’s Polytechnic. She served as curriculum developer for the Catholic University Institute of Buea and Panafrican Institute for Development. She also served as first Assistant to the Associate Provost of CUIB and faculty representative. She is the founder of the Association of Decent work for women and girls.

Senetor Mbella Moki Charles

He served Buea as Mayor for many years before being elected as pioneer Senator to represent Fako Division of the South West Region in the Upper house. Senetor Mbella Moki has held other strategic posts of responsibility elsewhere such as President of Southwest FECAFOOT, President of Southwest mayors, and is also a Board member of CAMWATER.

Mr. Roland Kwemain 

Roland Kwemain is the Chairman of Go Ahead Africa Ltd. He was the first Black to become JCI world President in 2010. He is a leadership coach, corporate trainer, and Entrepreneur. He is passionate about youth leadership and has trained thousands of young people, corporate employees and leaders from over 70 countries across the world.

Barrister Nkongho Felix Agbor 

Barrister Nkongho is a bright Human Rights lawyer and founder and chairman of the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa. He has served his community in various capacities, including as president of the Fako Lawyers Association, vice president of the African Bar Association in charge of Central Africa. He also worked as a researcher at the Centre for International Law in Belgium, as an assistant legal officer at Sierra Leone International Criminal Court, a human right officer at the United Nation office in Congo and Afghanistan.

Dr. Asobo Napoleon

He is an Industrial Psychologist, expert in Public Administration, and a Management Consultant. He is lead trainer at the Local Government Training Centre(CEFAM), and former Rector of National Polytechnic, Bambui and HIMS Buea. He is a university lecturer and one of the few authors of Management and leadership books in Africa.

Mrs. Adeline Sede Kamga

She is the Founder and Publisher of Fabafriq Magazine and currently runs a PR firm in Cameroon and Europe. She has worked on various Human Resource Projects at the Birmingham City Council in the UK and has worked as Project Communication Analysts for the NHS in the UK. She is the Global Secretary and African Chair of Global visionary women network and the founder of The Corporate Awards, and the Corporate Women in leadership Program 

Mr. Roland Fomundam 

He is the President of Fotabe University and seasoned Social Entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Greenhouse Ventures, a leading Agricultural Organization in Africa. He has been a lecturer of Entrepreneurship in many national and international Universities, and passionate about youth leadership and Entrepreneurship.

Ms. Pamela Happi

Pamela Happi is a television personality. She is also the founder and trainer of the Arcadia Workshop, which was created with the objective of promoting the youth to have self-confidence and to build better careers.

Mr. Tanjoh Fridrick

He is a former mayor of the Batibo council and a teacher and corporate consultant. He is passionate about community development, and has championed many developmental projects in the country, including setting up of a soap Factory in Batibo, via a partnership with the Korean government.

Mrs. Bernadette Enoh

She is the founder of IamAfropreneur, a platform to drive Development in Africa by promoting Africa. She is an Innovative Strategist, Lifestyle blogger and soccer enthusiast.

Mr. Takor Ronald Takor

He is the Executive Vice President of Fotabe University and Secretary of the Board of Trustees. He is a university lecturer and trained Accountant, formerly Dean of the Institute of Business and Executive Education at Fotabe University.

FUNIC’s Board of Trustees is set to start work at a time when COVID-19 has changed the way people learn and live.
