The Cyber Security and Digital Forensics program is a traditional, one-year on-campus, daytime program. The program will develop students’ theoretical knowledge while they gain the skills, practical experience and certifications to excel in areas that range from compliance management to cyber forensics and everywhere in between. Studies are tailored to gain the expert knowledge, and specialist cyber security skills that are in high demand across all sectors and industries. Students will enhance their understanding of compliance standards within a range of industries and networks, learn to identify breaches, vulnerabilities and threats – and build the digital investigation skills that will minimise their impact on organisations
Program Objectives:
- To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, cryptography, and information assurance.
- To develop the analytical and technical skills necessary for identifying, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats and attacks.
- To equip students with the ability to perform digital forensic investigations and utilize advanced tools and techniques.
- To prepare students for leadership roles in the cybersecurity industry, including security analyst, incident response, and digital forensics
Learning Outcomes:
Graduates of the program will have an ability to:
1. Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
2. Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline. 3. Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.
4. Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice
5. based on legal and ethical principles.
6. Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline.
7. Apply security principles and practices to maintain operations in the presence of risks and threats.

General Entry Requirements
To be admitted into the B-Tech program, students must meet ONE of the following criteria:
1. Hold a Higher National Diploma in any field related to program of interest obtained from Cameroon or abroad. Or should have completed two years of university studies from a recognized Higher institution in Cameroon or abroad. Students who fall in this second category will write an entrance examination supervised by FUNIC Cameroon.
2. Holders of DIPES and DIPIT issued by the Ministry of Higher Education in Cameroon.
