The inter religious dialogue course is a strategic course is a highly strategic course designed to train students to have meaningful conversations with people who practice religions other than theirs. The goal is to prepare students to develop tolerance for others, whose values are different, so as to foster a peaceful coexistence and reduce the conflicts that arise due to religious intolerance and differences in affiliations.
The objectives of this course are achieved by exposing students to the history, beliefs, worship and values of all the religions in the world. In study groups, students are encouraged to have deep conversations about beliefs, and conflicts, and how conflicts can be averted.
The course is a collaborative learning experience, which can be studied online or on-campus. The program is divided into chapters spread over 20 hours of study time:
